DVD Slideshow Builder Failed

I downloaded the the DVD slideshow builder and was going to give it a shot. I chose a couple photos to add and a dialog box popped up that said I could not use media from a mobile device. And that was as far as I got. I did not have anything plugged into my usb ports or a cd in my computer. The photos were chosen from my hard drive.

I uninstalled the program, reinstalled it and tried again. Same results. I tried it 3 different times and got the same result. It had a major problem and I have no idea what it was. I did not get to experience or try anything else and just gave up and uninstalled it. I was on a computer with Windows XP.
